The first official meeting was held in 1998.
In 2002 HPO joined with the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), to become the 13th Chapter nationwide and the first in Texas. Since joining NAPO National, the Houston Chapter has grown into a successful organization with a strong presence in the community.
NAPO National and the Houston Chapter offer information, programs, and education for consumers, professional organizers, and those interested in a career in the organizing industry.
